The original encaustic paintings are made with beeswax and pigment using both classic encaustic methods and unique techniques I have developed over the past decade creating encaustic art. The ground is my own custom gesso recipe on 3/4" birch panel.

The prints are individually signed and produced using a pigment giclee process on a museum quality archival satin finish photographic paper. The result is a museum quality print that rivals the original encaustic painting in both color and sheen. All the beauty and brilliance of the original is captured in this process. While photographic and litho prints are somewhat dull, the pigment giclee process makes all the richness of the original jump out with deep blacks, saturation and gradations hard to achieve with other media.
