I was intrigued by a bloom I spotted out on a walk. It was curious to me how amidst all the spiney branches a delicate flower would spring boldly against the perilous thicket as if daring one to try and grasp it. Bloom Among the Brambles: 24×24″ encaustic on birch panel.
